Where To Stay
Superior location (right in Old Town, close to everything); spacious, nice interior; and super responsive, helpful host! The host has offered a special price if you book through me. (Email me at rachel.pj.wang@gmail.com)

What To Wear In Prague During Christmas
Thick jackets. Waterproof items are sometimes recommended because of potential rain. I wasn’t sure whether it snows during this time, but there wasn’t any snow and was just -2°C.
Gloves, hats to cover my ears, and thermal wear helped me a lot with the cold as an LA native, but I saw a decent number of locals who didn’t need those at all. Most people wore jeans for pants.
The Best Bars, Pubs, and Microbreweries
As recommended by Josef and tried by us!
Black Angel’s Bar
Josef says they have the best cocktails in Prague, and my friends and I all agreed they had the best cocktails of our entire Europe trip. All the drinks are super well-made and the waiters are super helpful in helping you identify what types of drinks you’d like. Their menu also shares with you the history of the drinks made mainly by Alois and his adventures through the early 20th century. No pictures are allowed inside.
I’d recommend coming when it opens or make a reservation because the space fills up quickly.

AnonymouS Bar
We enjoyed this bar, though it wasn’t on Josef’s list. This bar is V for Vendetta themed. Bartenders put on the Guy Fawkes mask specifically when you order the flame drink where they do a fire show for you to make an alcoholic tea, which tasted super good by the way.

The Alchemist Bar
As of Christmas time 2021, there is no Choose Your Fate drink cuz of Covid. Not on Josef’s list, but a fun ambience.
